If you were a dude in the Bay Area during the mid-late 80s and you wanted to see the cream of the crop of female hard rockers, you went to a Vain show. They were most definitely the kings of Broadway in San Francisco and had rockers spanning from hair metal to thrash fans packing venues like The Stone and The Omni. Vain always offered a harder, edgier sound than most bands sporting the glam makeup, spandex, leather, and huge hair. It’s what broadened their appeal assuredly. After thirty years they look and sound just as good as they did in 1989. Don’t miss them performing hits like “No Respect”, “Icy”, and “Beat the Bullet” when they return for only their 2nd hometown show in over 20 years.

Headlining the night is 80s Billboard charting success Slaughter. With over five million records sold and multiple Billboard Hot 100 appearances, Slaughter built a name for themselves with early hits “Fly to the Angels” (#19), “Up All Night” (#27), and “Spend My Life” (#39). Lead by Vocalist/Guitarist Mark Slaughter, the band is comprised of original member Dana Strum (Bass), Zoltan Chaney (Drums), and Jeff “Blando” Bland (Guitar), all of which makeup Motley Crue’s Vince Neil’s solo band.

If you have yet to attend a show at Santa Rosa’s newest premier venue ‘House of Rock’, do yourself a favor. Bust out the calendar and credit card and grab your tickets now!
